One Room Dungeon -- A Game by Gingerbradman for the 2021 Inaugural indieTales Game Jam.

This game is a Brief Room-Rotating Action-Rogue-like and my first ever entree into any game jam ever.

To anyone reading this -- Hey y'all, its been a pleasure being a part of this community and I know I went solo for this jam, but I can't wait to team up for the next one!

To Adam -- Thanks for inspiring so much creativity.

Controls:

A - Move Left

D - Move Right

Q - Rotate Room (Left wall becomes your floor)

E - Rotate Room (Right wall becomes your floor)\

Mouse - Aim Fireball

Mouse Primary Click - Fire Fireball

Notes:

- The room rotates on its own every 10 seconds to a random direction.

- The player can rotate the room by pressing Q or E, but it is a cooldown that is much slower when enemies are alive. (The cooldown power-up reduces this time.)

As VOiD1 Gaming commented, this game has a great concept, I've enjoyed the game!

Thank you very much! Hope you have a great day.

Hello,

The concept of this game is quite awesome. You can polish this game ahead by making it more action-packed to play. Currently, it feels dull and super slow, you can consider adding many powerups and increase the difficulty in such a way the gameplay feel would bump up instantly.

However, if you are not aware, we have a collection of Thousands of Game Assets for Free which you can use in your personal and commercial game, just grab anything you want.

Thanks for the feedback! I was thinking of experimenting with more varied room layouts and definitely more power ups. I'll keep your suggestion in mind if I enough people enjoy the game to revisit it.

That Sounds Great!
